Grannie is right !

I feel and I look wonderful today. I was at my little sister's First Communion, and I got so many admiring glances from the fellas in the Churchyard. For I was wearing my new girdle out for the first time. Grannie and my Aunties were right, it made all the difference to my figure in my tight dress-up dress. I have to say it, my figure was fabulous !

And did I mind having to wear the girdle, a Playtex Open Bottom high-waist model ? Not a bit of it ! I have worn a girdle at all times for the past two weeks, taking it down for toilet and bedtime only - but I disciplined myself to put it on first thing when I woke mornings, and it stayed on then until bedtime every night.

Of course I felt strange at first, the first time I found myself squashed into a girdle. I had to sit up straight, I couldn't just bend over like I used to, I had to walk differently, the girdle wobble I call it laughingly, and going up a stairs was quite a feat in girdle, stockings and suspenders - and often high heels too. A whole different world than runners and jeans, a whole elegant world that I now love .

I notice that I glance in mirrors at my figure very often these days, in reflective shop windows and the like. In the mornings and at night I look happily in my bedroom mirror at the stiff flat satin front panel of my girdle, where my belly used to be, flattened !!! And I look at my bum, which I know call my ' derriere ' in 'girdle language' of the haute couture salon.

And in the past fortnight I have also trained myself to wear a longline bra all the time. Not only does this type of brassiere shape me beautifully - and, no, I don't feel the bones at all - but it pushes by breasts up and out magnificently. No wonder the fellas in the churchyard this morning were gobsmacked :-)

And this is what this blog of mine is mostly about, the best ways we can slim and shape our figures without starving, without having to do massive exercises when we don't want to. Get used to a girdle and a longline and you can live life on Easy Street, that's my address !

I want to tell you here about all the little secrets of firming yourselves up and moulding your figures comfortably into the most fashionable in your street, town or city, the secrets of being elegant, of carrying yourselves properly, and when you're in a girdle and longline you won't have any choice to move any other way, that's the glamour of it all.

You'll have no jiggle behind and the open-bottom girdle with tightly - fastened suspenders to stocking tops is the best, because it makes us walk prettily and demurely, especially when combined with heels which you should also start to wear all the time .

Imagine, I now have the luxury of wearing the most incredibly tight pencils over a figure not a millimetre out of line, and to achieve this the girdle is the only way to go... read on .
